We will have an informal conversation about your vision and get to know one another to see if we are a good fit! We will discuss your business, your goals, what you are ultimately looking for from an aesthetic perspective. We will also talk about your timeline and what to expect from the process. Contract & Payment
When you are ready to book, simply send me an email to let me know what start date is best for you. A 50% deposit and a signed agreement will be needed to reserve a spot in my schedule. Once these things are complete, we are ready to roll!
Client Workbook & Content Sharing
This is where the majority of your work happens! You will send me all copy and images to go on your website. You will need to complete a detailed questionnaire and send examples of websites that inspire you. This will help me narrow down your design aesthetic, needs and learn more about your business.
Based on your workbook, I’ll create a visual inspiration board that defines the style for your new website. I’ll correspond with you about any changes before beginning the web design process.
Design Phase & Website Presentation
I’ll get to work designing your dream website! You’ll have full access to the work being done along the way to give any feedback. Once I have the website finished, we will schedule a call for me to present your website. I’ll walk you through the design rationale framed through the eyes of your audience. If any edits are necessary, we will discuss and make changes accordingly. Upon approval, I will send your final invoice over for the remaining balance.
Additional Design Materials
Once we have your website set, I’ll create the extra materials you chose from the list! Upon approval, I will send you files via DropBox.
We will set up a call or in person meeting to show you the ins and outs of managing your new website. Additionally, for 30 days after the project is complete we are available for free support.
Pop the bubbly and launch your new site! If you signed up for social media marketing, this is when we will begin getting your social media channels ready to wow the world!
2 more things to know...
Domain and Hosting:
Payment for purchasing of domain name and hosting are the responsibility of you, the client. I will offer advice on which businesses to purchase from, and provide you with coupons for those I am affiliated with. Cost of yearly hosting and domain ownership are not the responsibility of Speak Social.
Copywriting and Photography:
All website copy should be provided upon beginning the project. Writing the copy is not the responsibility of Speak Social. However, you can add copywriting services for an additional cost. Editing and proofreading is included. All photography for website should be provided upon beginning the project.
